Meet The Team

I am a licensed Cosmetologist. I started The Sugar Shop in Old Town, Saginaw, in November 2019. I have been sugaring since 2011 and doing hair removal with traditional wax since 2009/2010. We have been working hard, training, and expanding. Now we have two locations -- Saginaw and Essexville. We look forward to servicing your hair removal needs. 

Licensed Cosmetologist for the last 7 years. Sugaring hair removal specialist for 3 years and has been trained by owner, Amanda Aguilar. I am excited to continue my professional career in the art of sugaring hair removal, at The Sugar Shop in Saginaw.

I've been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2008. I have 3 children. I discovered sugaring in 2020 after meeting Amanda, and fell in love! Then decided to join her team at The Sugar Shop and use my Cosmetology license I've held while continuing with my professional career. I look forward to serving my clients with all their sugaring needs.

Haley completed her Aesthetician program late spring 2022. After receiving her Bachelors in Technical Communication from SVSU, she changed career paths and followed her heart into the skincare industry (not to mention is excited as ever!) She offers full body hair removal at both Saginaw and Essexville Sugar Shop locations.

I have always been interested in anything cosmetology but especially hair removal. In 2024 I received my cosmetology license. I reached out to Amanda and immediately knew The Sugar Shop would be a place I would enjoying working.
